A gift nobody returns
Most gifts add something to a house. A cleaning takes something off the list. Someone can walk in the door to a spotless kitchen and bathrooms — baseboards, ceiling fans, and everything else that can be dusted. They don’t have to lift a finger, and they get back the whole day they were going to spend on it.
We’ve been cleaning homes in Hanover and the surrounding towns since 2009, with insured, bonded, background-checked W-2 employees. The recipient of this gift is handing their house to a real company, not a stranger off an app.
How much do people usually give?
Gift certificates are almost always used for a single cleaning rather than ongoing service, so most land between $200 and $400 depending on the size of the home.
Or any other amount you’d like.
If the amount falls short, we can bill either you or the recipient for the remainder. If the amount is for more than the cleaning ends up costing, we refund the difference to you.

It takes a short conversation — just how many rooms and which type of rooms. Every home is different, and that’s not something a square-footage number answers. Gift Certificate Questions
Does the gift certificate expire?
No. There is no expiration date. The recipient can use it whenever the timing works for them.
How much should I put on it?
Most are between $200 and $400, with $300 being the most common. We can discuss the details of the home — or look it up online if it’s listed — and then tell you what the cleaning would cost so you’re not guessing. You can also check our instant pricing estimator.
Can I give one without the recipient seeing the amount?
Yes. We print a version that names the service instead of a dollar figure, so the certificate reads as a professional cleaning of their home with no price on it.
What if the cleaning costs more than the certificate?
The certificate comes off the total and either you or the recipient can pay the difference. If the cleaning costs less than the certificate, we refund the difference to the purchaser.
Can you bill me after the cleaning instead?
Yes, and it’s a good option when you don’t know what the home needs. We clean first and invoice you afterward, up to a limit you set ahead of time. This has to be arranged by phone — call (717) 634-8659.
How do I pay for it?
Check or Venmo. There is no online checkout — a quick call, text, or email is all it takes.
How fast can I get it?
A PDF is usually emailed the same day. We can also mail it, have you pick it up in Hanover, or hand-deliver it locally.
Where can it be used?
At addresses inside our service area — Hanover, Gettysburg, Littlestown, New Oxford, McSherrystown, and the surrounding towns listed on our contact page. If you’re not sure whether an address qualifies, call before you buy and we’ll check.
Can it be redeemed for cash?
No. It’s good toward cleaning services only.
Can you customize how it looks?
Yes. We can add a personal message, adjust the layout, or print it differently. Just tell us what you have in mind when you call.
